Government Arts and Science College, Komarapalayam (Co-Education) affiliated to Periyar University, Salem , was established in the year 2013, from its very inception it has been committed to provide quality and need based education to poor rural students of Komarapalayam and its surrounding areas.
Initially it started with 5 U.G Courses [B.A Tamil, B.A English, B.Com, B.Sc Computer Science, B.Sc Mathematics]. In the year 2017-2018, 3 UG courses [B.Sc Physics, B.B.A, B.Sc Chemistry] and 5 P.G Courses [M.A Tamil, M.A English, M.Com, M.Sc Computer Science, M.Sc Mathematics] were started.
