Government Arts College, Dharmapuri was founded in 1965. Established with the noble ambition of providing higher education to the people of Dharmapuri district. Prevailing in Thadangam Panchayat Union located at Salem Main Road, adjacent to Dharmapuri District Collector’s office.
Started with three P.U.C courses and now has grown up with forty courses, which includes UG, PG and research. The college was Affiliated to Periyar University, Salem and Re-Accredited with B++ Grade by NAAC.
