Hindusthan College of Arts & Science ( HICAS ) was started by Hindusthan Educational & Charitable Trust in 1998. The mission of the college is to pursue a philosophy of perceptual acquisition of knowledge. Hindusthan College of Arts & Science ( HICAS ) is An Autonomous College – Affiliated to Bharathiar University.
The College has obtained the DBT STAR College status in the year 2017. It is also accreditated with NAAC. Today, there are 32 UG Programmes and 15 PG Programmes in the fields of Arts, Sciences, New era Technologies, Commerce and Management. Apart from this, in the college, 10 departments are offering M.Phil. programmes and 10 departments are offering Ph.D. programmes.
